Excellent location for exploring Perigueux. Easy to find. Free public parking is available in several very close locations which can get busy and some are limited to 48 hrs. Hotel also has some parking for a small fee. Very good restaurant on site with a pleasant bar area. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was on the small side, but probably average for this type of hotel. It had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Bed was comfortable and we slept well. We thought the hotel offered excellent value for money given its location and facilities and would stay again when travelling in this area.

Very nice hotel on the edge of the old town of Perigueux directly between the cathedral and the river, free parking on the riverbank and directly at the hotel. Nice, modernly furnished room with a view of the river, very friendly staff (the hotel manager offered us his own parking space because all the parking spaces at the hotel were occupied at the moment and we didn't want to park the car by the river because there was a lot of luggage in the vehicle). We used the evening for a stroll through the medieval old town. After a very good breakfast, we visited the Lascaux Cave (Lascaux IV, an excellent replica of the original cave which is closed to the public) with its prehistoric cave paintings, 50 minutes by car from the hotel - a must for every visitor (entrance ticket 20 EUR)!

Great location right in the centre and by the river, very clean throughout and good choice of foods at breakfast including plant based milks. Very pleasant gent serving in the breakfast area - the rest of the staff could learn from him.

Really friendly staff, very accommodating and delighted to find they let our dog stay with us even in the bar and restaurant area. Location for seeing all the sights of Périgueux is fantastic, beautiful setting overlooking the river and old town.

Great central location with river views. The hotel was spotlessly clean, with a lovely lounge, bar and restaurant area. We had planned to eat in town but saw the evening menu and decided to eat at the hotel. We were so glad we did. The food was fabulous, and the service was excellent. The room was warm and comfortable. Would definitely want to stay again.

Good location. Close to the river & less than 5 mins walk from the old town which is worth visiting. Pleasant outdoor bar and dining area. We had dinner there & the service & food were good. The meal was well presented & the menu imaginative. The beds were comfortable & the room adequately furnished. Fine for an overnight stay.

A basic comfy room, with decent shower. No frills and a bit functional but clean and basically what you'd expect from an Ibis Hotel. The hotel is one of the larger Ibis Hotels I have stayed in and had a good bar on the ground floor. The location was perfect - literally backing on to the cathedral - you can't really get more central in Perigeaux.

The location is second-to-none and there is parking available near at hand, although you might have to wait until a space becomes free. Breakfast alfresco was a delight and the selection of food available was excellent. The staff were very helpful and between them spoke many languages.
